Super Bowl picks

New England Patriots vs NY Giants

0-2 last week stings a bit, but I have the Patriots winning this game. Clearly you shouldn't trust my opinion, but I'll explain why I'm wrong. The Giants by all accounts have the edge, they have a better defense, about equal offense, and they've beaten the Patriots before this season and on the big stage. But I think the Patriots will win because of motivation, the Giants want to win another Super Bowl, and that's it. For Belichik and Brady this is not only a revenge game for Super Bowl 42, but it's also a gift to the late Myra Hiatt Kraft. The Patriots aren't just playing for another Super Bowl, they're playing for a loved one of their team. Therefore they win, probably in dramatic fashion to because the Pats can't do it any other way. If I had to take a guess at the score... 24-21.

NFL Preview of the 2011-2012 season

The way I made these predictions is by going through a team's schedule and checking off wins, losses, and maybes. Maybes were games that could go either way. This is why you may see a couple teams have really high numbers for their predictions. Especially in the NFC East where pretty much every division game is a maybe.(Anyone that has watched this division play will agree)

AFC East:
New England Patriots[12-4 to 14-2] - 1st
New York Jets[9-7 to 11-5] - 2nd
Miami Dolphins[5-11 to 7-9] - 3rd
Buffalo Bills[3-13 to 5-11] - 4th

AFC West:
San Diego Chargers[12-4 to 14-2] - 1st
Kansas City Chiefs[8-8 to 10-6] - 2nd
Oakland Raiders[4-12 to 6-10] - 3rd
Denver Broncos[2-14 to 4-12] - 4th

AFC North:
Pittsburgh Steelers[13-3 to 15-1] 1st
Baltimore Ravens[10-6 to 12-4] 2nd
Cleveland Browns[4-12 to 6-10] 3rd

AFC South:
Houston Texans[10-6 to 12-4]1st
Indianapolis Colts[9-7 to 11-5]2nd
Jacksonville Jaguars[8-8 to 10-6]3rd
Tennessee Titans[3-13 to 5-11]4th

Dallas Cowboys[9-7 to 11-5]2nd
New York Giants[7-9 to 9-7]3rd

St. Louis Rams[10-6 to 12-4]1st
Arizona Cardinals[7-9 to 9-7]2nd
Seattle Seahawks[6-10 to 8-8]3rd
San Francisco 49ers[1-15 to 3-13]4th

NFC North:
Green Bay Packers[11-5 to 13-3]1st
Detroit Lions[10-6 to 12-4]2nd
Chicago Bears[7-9 to 9-7]3rd
Minnesota Vikings[4-12 to 6-10]4th

NFC South:

New Orleans Saints[9-7 to 11-5]2nd
