How would you reorganize the MLB?

Well the MLB PA has said they are considering expanding playoffs. I support this movement but I think it should come with a change to the way the divisions are organized in the MLB, and here are my suggestions:

AL East:

As far as playoffs go I would prefer 8 teams per conference and for the regular season to either be shortened or pushed to March so that the playoffs begin around September 21st:
